Atlas — the reasoning engine behind every Prolixis product.
Atlas is our proprietary reasoning engine — a trained company model with multi-step planning, persistent memory, and identity-hardened execution baked into the runtime. It is the engine, not a chatbot.
A runtime for AI that thinks, remembers, and acts.
Frontier models are excellent generators. Production systems need more — durable memory, deterministic tool use, identity boundaries, and a way to recover when a step fails. Atlas is the layer that turns frontier reasoning into reliable execution.
We compose the best available models, adapt them to a customer's domain, and wrap them in a runtime engineered for regulated environments. The result is intelligence you can deploy — and audit.
Engine, not a chatbot
- Composes frontier models — not constrained to one vendor.
- Domain-adapted for the workflows our products serve.
- Memory is first-class, not retrieved on the side.
- Every action is logged, scoped, and reviewable.
Six primitives that make Atlas production-grade.
Multi-step reasoning
Plans, decomposes, and executes long-horizon tasks across tools, documents, and APIs — without losing context between steps.
Persistent memory
Structured + vector memory through Contivon. Atlas recalls entities, decisions, and prior outputs with sub-50ms retrieval.
Identity hardening
Per-agent identity boundaries, scoped credentials, and prompt-injection defence built into the runtime — not bolted on.
Tool & workflow orchestration
Native connectors for data rooms, fund admin systems, ERPs, and internal APIs. Deterministic execution where it matters.
Domain adaptation
A trained company model that improves on frontier models for industry-specific tasks.
Auditability by default
Every decision logged with inputs, retrievals, intermediate plans, and tool calls. Designed for SOC 2 and SEBI-grade review.
Atlas is built on Helios — our internal model & runtime stack.
Helios is the four-layer system that powers Atlas. Each layer is independently versioned, instrumented, and replaceable as the frontier moves.
Reasoning kernel
Helios-Core
Atlas's planning + inference loop. Decomposes goals, selects tools, and recovers from partial failures.
Memory subsystem
Helios-Mem
Bridges Atlas to Contivon. Hybrid relational + vector recall with provenance attached to every chunk.
Safety layer
Helios-Guard
Prompt-injection defence, identity scoping, output validation, and policy enforcement at the runtime boundary.
Domain layer
Helios-Adapt
Lightweight, in-house adaptation that tunes Atlas to a customer's documents, terminology, and regulatory context.

Frontier labs
Train ever-larger models. Optimise for benchmarks and general capability.

Wraps a model with a UI. Brittle in production, no memory, no audit trail.
Prolixis Atlas
Composes frontier models, adds memory, identity, and execution. Built for regulated, real-world workloads.
Every Prolixis product ships on the same engine.
Contivon
Memory platform
Persistent memory exposed as an API. Atlas powers retrieval ranking, conflict resolution, and recall.

Learn moreFrequently asked questions.
Is Atlas a foundation model?
Atlas is a proprietary reasoning engine built on top of a trained company model. We do not compete with frontier labs on raw scale — we compose, adapt, and harden the best available models for real-world enterprise execution.
Is Atlas available externally?
No. Atlas is an internal engine that powers Prolixis products, starting with Contivon. Enterprises access Atlas's capabilities through our products and APIs.
How is data handled?
Customer data is isolated per tenant. Memory and retrievals stay within the customer's data boundary. We support on-prem and private-cloud deployments for regulated environments.
